After reading & enjoying Mr. Gancitano's first book, I took a chance on this one after hearing him speak even though I didn't think it would apply to me. Do not be put off by the title! Yes, it's definitely helpful for professional and semi-pro athletes, but the information and affirmations apply to everyone in any field. If you have a child who is involved in sports, you may want to read some of the passages together and explain their significance. Although the author has endorsements from well-known athletes in their field, I wish he'd had a blurb from a hockey mom! Mr. Gancitano seems to be a very spiritual man, and although the book is not about religion, I felt some of the affirmations were a little too "godly." You can easily skip some of those, and get right into the next chapter.Product details

Insightful and enjoyable! The chapter layout and sentence structure help make this book easy to read/follow. Great application of spiritual truths to improve one's understanding of athletics, competitive events and his/her own true nature.
